From the beginning our experience was great! Living in England we were worried we wouldnt click with our photographer, having not met in person prior to our wedding. But we needn't have worried! From our first Teams call it felt like we had known James for years & he had been part of our wedding journey from the start. He made us feel totally relaxed & even more excited for the big day. He talked us through every little detail & made it all so seamless. He is a true expert! On the day, the craic was 90 ! He was a true extension of our wedding party. James was an absolute pleasure to have with us on the morning of our wedding and throughout the day! He captured every shot we had discussed during our pre-wedding meeting, and he was incredibly mindful of our wish not to be away from our guests for too long which we really appreciated. Thanks to his efficiency, we were able to get all our photos done quickly and still enjoy plenty of time at our reception. Would we recommend James as your wedding photographer……100% YES! From the moment we met him over coffee nearly a year ago. We knew he was the right choice. His communication with us throughout the entire planning process was amazing from our engagement shoot to the months in between and the run up to the wedding was brilliant. We got married at beech hill country house a venue James has photographed many times before so he worked seamlessly with the venue and the time line we had was perfect. He kept us relaxed and made the entire process very easy. I am not the keenest person to get his photograph taken but James makes it easy giving guidance on how he wants the photos to be and how we should stand. He has a great sense of humour and it’s so easy to get along with. No awkwardness just relaxed fun. Then the actual photos. They are perfect. Brilliant mix of relaxed, fun and beautiful pictures. He takes into consideration what and who you want in the photos and captures them perfectly!! The turnaround time on getting your photographs is amazingly quick. He provides a sneak peak of about 70-80 photos on the day of your wedding and then less than a month later we got the rest! When me and partner decided to get married apart from the hotel the only other thing that was hugely important to get booked was the photographer. I found James straight away read his bio, read the reviews and looked at the pictures hes taken and knew straight away he was the photographer for us. Thankfully he was free that day and said yes lol. From the very first email to this day he has been amazing! He is so friendly and funny which helped put us at ease when we went for our pre-wedding photo shoot. We went for coffee to discuss what we wanted on the wedding day and he did not disappoint his eye for detail and catching those little moments we didn't think of was fantastic.
