ON YOUR WEDDING DAY

On wedding days, you’ll likely find me with an iced coffee in hand, probably making references to 90s Jim Carrey films or slipping in Father Ted quotes when the moment calls for it. These little bits of personality help keep things relaxed, which is exactly when the best photographs happen. My approach is documentary at heart, I’m there to observe and capture rather than direct and control. But don’t worry, I’ll step in with guidance when needed, especially during portraits. The rest of the time, I’m reading the room, anticipating moments before they happen, and making sure I’m in the right place at the right time.

I’m after the gold stuff, not just how your day looked, but how it bloody well felt. That teary glance from your mum, the tight squeeze of hands during vows, the absolute scenes on the dance floor, the pure joy of celebrating with everyone you love in one place.. these become the photographs that transport you back years later, like those old family albums that brought everyone together around the kitchen table.

From our first chat over coffee to the final delivery, I’m in this with you. I see my couples as future friends rather than transactions, which explains why some of my earliest couples have become lifelong friends who I still catch up with over coffee.
